About this printer
The Snapmaker U1 uses four independent toolheads for multicolor and multi-material 3D printing. Its CoreXY motion system and automatic calibration support a range of creative and functional projects.
- Build volume: 270 × 270 × 270 mm.
- Toolchanging: four SnapSwap toolheads; Snapmaker rates direct swaps at approximately 5 seconds.
- Motion: rated up to 500 mm/s, with up to 20,000 mm/s² acceleration. Actual results depend on the model, material, and settings.
- Calibration: automated toolhead alignment, bed leveling, and motion compensation.
- Filament management: automatic loading and backup-spool functionality.
- Optional enclosure: the separately sold top cover supports additional engineering-material workflows. Check the required setup for your chosen filament.
